Theory retreat in Copenhagen

On a sunny April day, the DISTRACT team met for a one-day theory "retreat" in Copenhagen. The purpose of the day was for each sub-project to develop concepts and lines of inquiry for further research. As such, the sub-projects each interpreted "theory" in different ways and chose a focus for the day most in line with the current work by the sub-project. In sub-project 1 a  theory-based research design was developed for fieldwork at Folkemødet, in sub-project 2 focus was on finding common ground between different lines of inquiry, in sub-project 3 the outlines of a new literature study was developed and tested, and in sub-project 4 a detailed plan for fieldwork and social experiments at a collaborating company was created.
