Panel on open science in social science at the SAMF Research Day
Last Tuesday, DISTRACT PhD Malene Hornstrup Jespersen participated in a panel discussion on open science in the social sciences. In the panel to discuss this crucial and complicated move to ensure transparent and accessible science was Dr. Anne Scheel (psychology, Utrecht University), Dr. Lasse Liebst (sociology, UCPH), Prof. Ayo Wahlberg (anthropology, UCPH), Prof. Victoria Southgate (psychology, UCPH), Prof. Anja C. Andersen (astrophysics, UCPH), and Prof. David Dreyer Lassen (economics and UCPH pro-rector for research). Thomas Morton moderated the discussion that particularly revolved around transparency, different versions of open science across disciplines, and how infrastructural support is key to secure good open science practices. The panel was part of the SAMF Research Day and organized by The Faculty Research Committee.
