Panel discussion on digital dependencies at Tech Policy Days
What are the opportunities and the risks of growing up in an increasingly digital era?
This was a central discussion point in the panel on digital dependencies that Malene Hornstrup Jespersen participated in on Friday 17th with Sørine M. Vesth Rasmussen (Børns Vilkår) and Signe Gertz Jensen (UN Youth Delegate).
As main take-aways from the panel, Malene Hornstrup Jespersen highlights three perspectives as central to the discussion. Namely; that screen time is not just screen time, children and young people are not a uniform group, and that young voices are needed when policies are created about the future of our digital lives. For elaboration on the three perspectives check out Malene's LinkedIn post reflecting on the debate.
The debate was moderated by Lucas Honoré and organized by chair of the CPH Tech Policy Youth Committee, Clara Jeanneret Skovgaard. The panel debate was part of the launch of the brand-new CPH Tech Policy Youth Committee, within the program of the Tech Policy Days, first annual conference of the CPH Tech Policy Committee.
