Mobile phones and distractions in classrooms: nuances needed
DISTRACT assistant Anne Marie Hastrup Kristensen recently published an opinion piece in the Danish Newspaper Politiken, together with Associate Professor in Psychology Signe Vangkilde. In the piece, the two psychologist argue for a more nuanced approach to restrictions for mobile use in school classrooms, by pointing out that too strict and top-down restrictions might backfire, and that giving pupils tools to manage their own attention should be the way forward.
