The Chinese shitstorm

Social media is flooding with Chinese profiles trying to ridicule Denmark. And it is most likely fake and automated profiles taking part in the shit storm. This happens after a caricature drawing from the Danish newspaper, Jyllands Posten, has once again caused foreign powers to demand excuses. "We see a group of Chinese trying to influence Danish politics and the Danish media," says PhD student at SODAS, Yevgeniy Golovchenko. 

Yevgeniy has reviewed a number of the many profiles that are spreading hateful messages about Denmark and the Jutland Post on the Internet. "I can see that some of the profiles look very fake," he says.
