New article: "Exposure to urban and rural contexts shapes smartphone usage behavior"
DISTRACT researchers Anna Sapienza, Sune Lehmann, and DTU researchers Laura Alessandretti and Marita Lítlá have recently published the paper "Exposure to urban and rural contexts shapes smartphone usage behavior" in PNAS Nexus, where they show how the environmental context that people live in shape their smartphone use. Differences in app use and time spent on apps open new perspectives on studying links between online and offline behavior.
