Call for papers: The 9th Workshop on Perspectives on Scientific Error

Submissions and registration are open for PSE9, the 9th Workshop on Perspectives on Scientific Error.

PSE brings together people working on error, reproducibility and research integrity across data science, statistics, mathematics, and the social and life sciences.

It's a genuinely interdisciplinary meeting – we're looking for submissions from anyone whose work touches on how errors arise, spread, and get caught.

This year's keynotes

  • Stefan Guttinger (University of Exeter) – error in autonomous AI systems in science
  • Evangelia Christodoulou (DKFZ) – validation of prediction models in medical imaging
  • Adeyemi Adetula (Université Grenoble Alpes) – big-team replication in Africa
  • James Heathers (Center for Scientific Integrity / Linnaeus University) – detecting error and fraud in the published literature

Call for abstracts

Three ways to take part: a 30-minute contributed talk, a poster, or a proposal to lead a session at our hackathon day. Early-career researchers especially welcome!
