GDPR workshop with Henrik Mansfeldt Witt
On the 28th of January 2021, SODAS organized a workshop on GDPR and social data science research with Henrik Mansfeldt Witt from Aumento Lawyers, one of the premier legal experts on GDPR and data legislation in Denmark. Henrik also gives guest lectures on the Social Data Science master’s programme. Apart from a general introduction to the main principles of GDPR, Henrik addressed issues pertaining to GDPR that of particular relevance to SODAS researchers, including working with found data, social media data, and large datasets in general. The workshop was organized and moderated by assistant professor Kristoffer Albris.
