Yesterday, the progress of the digital fieldnote app Ethnote was celebrated at a traditional 'rejsegilde'. At the event, DISTRACT researcher Emilie Munch Gregersen presented the recently published paper 'Fixing Fieldnotes: Developing and Testing a Digital Tool for the Collection, Processing, and Analysis of Ethnographic Data' authored by Sofie Læbo Astrupgaard, August Lohse, Emilie Munch Gregersen, Jonathan Salsa, Kristoffer Albris, and Morten Axel Pedersen. The paper introduces Ethnote and the development of the app and can be access here. Additionally student of Anthropology Frederik Christensen presented on his and his fellow students use of the app in the field.
